World Meeting of Families 2018 : Email confirmations have been sent to all parishioners who have registered online for the World Meeting of Families 2018. Kindly proceed and make the required advance payment at the parish office in order to secure our place for the program. The last date to submit the advance is 31st January. The Sri Lankan Catholic Community is celebrating the commemorative Festive Mass and retreat of St. Joseph Vaz on 2nd February at St. Michael’s Church, Sharjah. Retreat and high mass will be celebrated by Rev. Cletus Chandrasiri Perera, Bishop of Ratnapura Diocese form 8 am to 3 pm. All Sri Lankans are invited.

In line with the upcoming International Women’s day, our parish would like to honor the Government of Dubai for the safety of women and children. A fun filled tribute named “WOW” Women of Wonder has been organized on 9th February at our church’s football ground from 9am for the female work force (nannies/domestic workers). Registration is free. Donations/sponsorship received from parishioners in any form will be used towards enhancing this event. Thank you for your generosity. Confirmation: For adults who have NOT received the Sacrament of Confirmation, a special preparation course is arranged. Classes each Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm, commencing on Friday, 9th February. Please note that to be married in the Church and to be a sponsor or godparent for Baptism, it is essential to have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. You may register your name at the Catechism Office (above the Main Hall). A copy of the baptism certificate is required upon registration.
