The World Meeting of Families (WMOF) 2018, Dublin, Ireland: Since its inception by Pope John Paul II in 1994, the World Meeting of Families (WMOF) has been held every three years in various cities around the globe. The main aim of Pope John Paul II in starting the WMOF was to establish an international event of prayer, catechesis and celebration that would draw participants from around the globe to help strengthen the bonds between families and bear witness to the crucial importance of marriage and the family to all of society.
Families from across the globe participate in break-out sessions and group discussions and share thoughts, dialogues, prayers, working together to grow as individuals and discuss their role as Christian families in the church and society.
This is the first time our vicariate will be participating and all parishioners are invited to attend. For registrations please click here.
