I am sure that along with the clergy for our parish, it is your fervent desire as well to see the doors of St Mary's Catholic Church open once again to everyone. To hurry this process, I need your complete understanding, support and cooperation by adhering to all the guidelines specified by the regulating authority of the government, which is the CDA. We are in a public place and are being observed by all. In a recent meeting, I was questioned by them regarding the repeated visits of people and assembling to pray on the pavement outside the grotto gate, as this is strictly prohibited since the temporary lockdown of our church. I was also warned that if the people do not comply with the rules, they will soon be subject to legal action. As mentioned on the posters outside the church gate and indications on our church website, I request all the parishioners to please avoid visiting church and praying on the pavement. So please pay heed to this humble request of your parish priest for your own good and the good of our church.
In full respect for your desire to pray, Father Lennie
