Completion of 'A Quick Journey through the Bible'

The Parish is delighted to announce the successful completion of the first Parish Level, 8-Part Bible Interactive Programme "A Quick Journey through the Bible" on 16th February 2015. 70 Participants went away, filled with the zeal and spirit, to continue their journey through the Bible. Our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Lennie Connully, graced the occasion and awarded certificates to the proud participants midst congratulatory messages on their hunger to learn the word of God and their perseverance in completing the programme. He also asked them to share their experience of this Journey, by living the Word and giving to others what they have received.

The 12 week programme was launched in October 2014 with the blessing of our former Parish Priest, Fr. Tomasito Veneracion. The Quick Journey through the Bible as is rightly titled is the story of Our Salvation from Genesis to Revelations and includes half-hour video presentations by Jeff Cavins, PowerPoint presentations on the important events covered in the Scripture and small group discussions on relevant questions followed by individual sharing and reflections. A group of trained Catechists who had done the 24-Part Great Adventure through the Bible, facilitated and guided the participants through this “Quick Journey”.

For the benefit of other parishioners, the second cycle of 10 Sessions of the same 8-Part programme will again commence in March 2015.
